Irene Michelle Frandsen was born on February 14, 1960 in Moab, Grand County, Utah. She passed away peacefully at home in West Jordan, Utah on July 20, 2014. She married the love of her life, Greg Frandsen on April 13, 1980 in the state of Washington.
Michelle had a particular love of blackpowder shooting and won plenty of awards doing so. She had a green thumb that could grow anything from house plants to her
garden outside. She was an athlete through and through, any type of sport that involved a ball she loved, played, coached, and watched. She especially loved her Pittsburg Steelers; even when they lost.
She had such a love for her dogs that she could never turn one away. She was a social butterfly with such a big heart warming smile on her face that led her to be friends with anyone and everyone. She always wanted a large family of her own but, was blessed with more friends than children. She was also blessed with her two grandchildren that she absolutely loved more than words.
She is survived by her husband Greg of 34 years, son Lance (Lacey) Frandsen, grandchildren Desirae and Dayton, three sisters Darcy Johansen, Doreen
Shorts and Carol Hill; brothers Randy Taylor and Curtis Taylor; mother and father Ann and David Fillmore of Lawrence, and many extended family members.
She is preceded in death by four brothers, Ricky Taylor, Billy Olive, Clint Fillmore and Cory (Jolene Kretschmann) Bills.
A viewing will be held at the LDS church at 7511 South 2700 West in West Jordan from 5-7 p.m. on July 23. A viewing will be held at the Heritage Funeral Home in Huntington from 10-11 a.m. on Friday, July 25. A graveside service will follow at the Cleveland Town Cemetery.
