Cleveland Days Saturday July 19, 2014
In the 5K Run prize drawing Tara Oveson and Amber Minchey each won iPods while mother and son Tina Bradley and Jackson Bradley won the 500 dollar gift certificates for braces from a local dentist.
Over 150 runners registered for the Color Me Cleveland 5K. When they were registered and gathered together suddenly a burst of multicolored dust was thrown into the area over the group. As the colored dust came down it created a multicolored fog around the group. After the runners left the area behind them on the street were large splotches of color.
In the 5K Run Jackson Bradley was the first runner to arrive followed by Jace Nova of Salt Lake City. Erin Hurst came in third. Lane Taylor was the fourth runner in.
Cleveland City served a great breakfast of ham, sausage, hash brown potatoes, scrambled eggs, pancakes, orange juice and milk.
At 10:30 a.m. the Children’s parade was lined up and started.
Then at 11 a.m. the Mayors parade began.
In the meantime an Art Show was going on in the Old Town Hall.
During the noon hour Sherrel Ward led the children in a series of games to win prizes.
