HUNTINGTON-Gloria Ann Hawks Zufelt, age 80, passed away Aug. 20, 2014, while surrounded by family at the Emery County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Ferron, Utah.
Gloria was born June 4, 1934 in Moab, Utah to Ernest and Amy Stewart Turner; and raised by Lynn Hawks. She married Ron Zufelt Nov. 3, 1951 in Aztec, New Mexico; they were sealed for all time and eternity in the Salt Lake Temple in 1964. Gloria was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many callings and enjoyed everyone, but she truly enjoyed being the compassionate service leader. She loved serving others in any way she could. Gloria loved fishing, camping, painting beautiful pictures of the outdoors, putting together puzzles, long drives in the fall through the canyon to enjoy the scenery, and most of all she loved spending time with her family. She leaves behind many wonderful memories and traditions that we will all continue to carry on in our hearts. Roses are Red, Violets are Blue and I love you to the moon and back forever and always!!! Until we meet again.
Survived by her eternal companion Ron Zufelt, Huntington; one son and two daughters, Steven Zufelt, Colorado, Linda Crawford, Price, Debbie (Ted) Curtis, Lawrence; siblings, Kenny (Bonnie) Hawks, Moab, Carol (Jerry) Mogensen, Price; grandchildren, Ronnie (Raelene) Terwilleger, Huntington, Rebecca (Barry) Horsley, Price, Steve Carsello, Salt Lake City; and many loving great-grandchildren.
