Help needed to find poachers of buck deer near Huntington

By By

Utah Division of Wildlife Resources
Conservation Officers are asking for help
from anyone who might have information
about two buck deer that were poached
recently near Huntington. On March 16, two young buck deer were shot and left
to waste. The wanton destruction and waste
of these small deer occurred on Stump Flat
Road, west of Huntington. Officers
investigating the poaching incident say the
deer are believed to have been killed
sometime between 11 AM and 5:30 PM
on March 16.
Poaching is a serious crime that robs
sportsmen and other wildlife enthusiasts of
the opportunity to legally harvest an animal
or to view it in its natural habitat. If you have
information related to the illegal killing of
these mule deer or any other wildlife crimes,
please call the UTiP Hotline at 1-800-662-
3337. A monetary reward is being offered
for information leading to the arrest and
conviction of those responsible. Requests
for confidentiality will be honored.
