HUNTINGTON- James Lee Saindon, age 70, passed away peacefully April 5, 2015. He was born July 23, 1944 in Bangor, Maine to Horace and Joanne Bolduc Saindon. Married Virginia Dolley July 23, 1968 in Vassalboro, Maine. James was a resident of Huntington since 1980 and a retired member of the U.M.W.A. Deer Creek Local #1769. He honorably served in the US Navy during Vietnam where he was awarded the National Defense and Vietnam Service Medals.
James had a love for the outdoors. He enjoyed camping and riding 4 wheelers on the desert with his family who meant everything to him. He will be sorely missed.
Survived by his loving wife, Virginia Saindon; children, Seann (Erin) Saindon, Joanne (Robert) Parmar, all of Huntington; siblings, Napolean (Lila) Saindon, Charles (Estelle) Saindon, both of Maine, Christina (Otto) Beiter, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Coty, Austin, James, Kameron, Sierra and Morgan; one great granddaughter, Alice.
Preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Funeral service, Friday, April 10, 2015, 2 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) in Price. Family will receive friends Friday one hour prior to service.
