ORANGEVILLE – Dennis Ray Tuttle, age 79, passed away June 15, 2015 in Provo, Utah, surrounded by members of his family. Dennis was born Aug. 25, 1935 in Orangeville to Fred and Louise Sitterud Tuttle. He married Maurine Alga Hansen in the Manti LDS Temple on Dec. 12, 1958.
Dennis was raised in Orangeville. He was a devoted husband, father, and faithful priesthood holder. He served diligently in many callings as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He lived his testimony of the Savior each day.
His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family. He was especially proud of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Dennis worked for the US Department of Agriculture for over thirty years and developed many friendships throughout the state. Dennis enjoyed his time on his farm and at his cabin at Joe’s Valley Reservoir.
Dennis is survived by his children: Jeffery (Lynette) Tuttle, Steven (Janet) Tuttle, and Wayne (Elise) Tuttle, all of Orangeville, along with Teresa (Dan) Limb of Kamas and Denise (Russell) Astin of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida; brother, Howard (Dawnette) Tuttle of Orangeville; 18 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Maurine, parents, brother, Orland Tuttle, and sister, Beverly Nielson.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 19, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the Orangeville LDS Chapel. There was a viewing at the church Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and on Friday from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. prior to the services. Interment, Orangeville City Cemetery. Services are in the care of Fausett Mortuary.
