The Green River baseball team has also been struggling this season as they have lost two games to Pinnacle and twice to Tabiona in the four team region that also includes Manila.
The young Green River team didn’t make the play-offs this season.
Their new coach Scott Robertson is optimistic about the future of Green River baseball as the young players gained valuable experience this season.
Wayne went on to win the 1A championship as they defeated Tabiona in the championship game, 16 to 4.
