Emery County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch received a call at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 13, that a man had been stabbed at a trailer park in Huntington. Sheriff’s Office personnel arrived on scene and discovered that a man had been stabbed in the leg by a neighbor.
EMTs treated the victim on scene. The victim refused transport to the hospital by ambulance and was taken to the hospital by private vehicle.
The suspect, David Glen Ward, was transported to Castleview Hospital by a patrol sergeant to be medically cleared before being arrested and booked into the Emery County Jail on charges of Aggravated Assault.
Alcohol was allegedly involved in the incident.
