A Fatal Crash on I-70 at milepost 66 on Oct. 28 claimed the life of a Ferron man.
A Ford Ranger pulling a boat was traveling west on I-70. The left rear tire failed on the truck. It appears that the driver attempted to slow for the tire failure but the boat pushed the truck sideways and off the road to the right.
The truck began to roll. The driver, unrestrained, was ejected and killed. The passenger was wearing her seat belt and remained in the truck but was flown from the scene. Jay Larsen was the Driver and fatal victim. He is 77 years old and from Ferron Utah.
