As of right now, Emery County Sheriff’s Office detectives are following up on 20-30 leads generated by phone calls from families of missing individuals. These calls started coming in after the story was released by media yesterday. The State Crime Lab received evidence from the State Medical Examiner’s Office today, and they are working on processing the evidence to help identify the body. The State Lab might have information as early as tonight. This case remains a top priority.
Detectives have been conducting interviews in Green River to determine the identity of the woman.
