"Recent snow storms have blanketed the county adding much needed moisture to the valley."

A few snow storms passed through the county during December. Cold temperatures have kept the snow on the ground for a white Christmas and snow for the beginning of 2016.
Last winter the county received below normal snowpack. So far in this water year which began on Oct. 1, precipitation totals are near normal.
However, the reservoirs are lower than they were going into last winter. Currently Millsite is 49 percent, Joe’s Valley is 61 percent, Miller’s Flat is 30 percent full, Cleveland Reservoir is 33 percent full, Huntington Reservoir is 54 percent full, Electric Lake is 55 percent full and Huntington North Reservoir is 68 percent full.
