U.S. Army Establishes New Military Occupational Specialty (MOS), 17C, Cyber Operations Specialist

The U.S. Army announces the establishment of MOS 17C, Cyber Operations Specialist.
A Cyber Operation Specialists major duties include the execution of both offensive and defensive cyberspace operations in support of the full range of military operations by enabling actions and generating effects across all domains. All candidates must meet basic enlistment eligibility as well as qualify for a Top Secret clearance and receive a passing score on the Information Communication Technology Literacy test. All candidates will be subject to polygraphing both prior to be awarded the MOS as well as subsequent examinations.

All candidates will be required to complete Basic Training as well as two separate phases of Advanced Individual Training to be awarded the MOS.
