Gary Joe Tidwell, 56, passed away suddenly in Moab on May 8, 2016. He was born Nov. 2, 1959 in Moab to Joseph and Lila Gay Jenkins Tidwell. He graduated from Carbon High School in 1978. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and was a labor broker in the oil field industry.
Gary loved to ride motorcycles since he was a young boy. He enjoyed traveling with his parents and enjoyed rock crawling around Moab. He was a true thrill seeker and lived life on the edge. He lived everyday to its fullest. He was a generous and loving man to everyone. He especially loved his family, friends, and his dog “Ginger”. He will be deeply missed by all who have known Gary.
Survivors include his parents Joseph and Lila Gay Tidwell of Wellington, a sister Vicki (Rick) Rasmussen of Cleveland and several nieces and nephews who he adored, also Sherry Tidwell, two step-sons Michael and Danny Boger and a grandson Tyler Boger all of Grand Junction.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents George and Wanda Jenkins and Joseph and Edith Tidwell.
A visitation will be held at Fausett Mortuary in Price, Utah on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. Graveside services will be held in the Wellington City Cemetery on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 11 a.m. with the interment to follow.
