CLAWSON-Dortha Ann Behling Riley Stressing, age 73, passed away Nov. 23, 2016 in Price, Utah while surrounded by the family she loved.
She was born May 3, 1943 in Ferron, Utah, the daughter of William Ferdinand and Florence Hansen Behling.
Married Lloyd George Riley June 28, 1958; their marriage solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple on June 30, 1973. He preceded her in death on Sept. 27, 2003. Later married David Paul Stressing on July 17, 2009.
Ann was a longtime resident of Clawson. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she cherished her work at the Manti Temple. Ann served in many church callings and served a mission at the Washington D.C. Temple. She really enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and family. Ann liked traveling with her beloved husband George with their trucking business. She was a talented homemaker who enjoyed sewing, canning, gardening, camping and fishing.
Survived by her husband, David Stressing; children, Teresa (Nolan) Behunin, Lori (Wade) Hancock, Christy Gasser, all of Clawson, William (Kim) Riley, Spring Creek, NV, Matt (Sueann) Riley, Carlsbad, NM; sister, Louise (Jack) Larsen, California; brother, Bruce (Jean) Behling, Ferron; 20 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Riley; son-in-law, Clay Gasser; grandson, Zebadiah Gasser; great-granddaughter, Zebree Gasser; brothers, Gerald and Harold Behling.
Funeral service, Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016, 11 a.m., Blue Hills LDS Ward (35 West 200 North) in Ferron. Family will receive friends at the church Monday evening from 6-7 p.m. and Tuesday one hour prior to service. Interment, Ferron City Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Ann online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
