FERRON, UTAH WOMAN AMONG 10 FINALISTS IN LUCKY LEAF “SIMPLE HOLIDAY TREAT” RECIPE CONTEST
Recipe will compete for public votes and $5,000 grand prize.
Submit a simple holiday recipe using a Lucky Leaf product for a chance to win $5,000. That was the simple task in Lucky Leaf’s “Simple Holiday Treat” contest.
The entries have been narrowed to just 10 finalists, including Ferron, Utah resident Carmell Childs, whose Festive Raspberry-lemon Icebox Cake stood out for being both easy to make and a tasty holiday treat. Childs’ recipe will now face off in a head-to-head match-up on the Lucky Leaf Facebook Page at Facebook.com/LuckyLeafPieFilling, where the public’s vote will help to determine the grand prize winner.
Each of the 10 finalists will receive a $250 Amazon gift card and will face off for votes on Facebook between December 5 and December 17. Taking fan votes into consideration, Lucky Leaf judges will then select a grand prize winner, who will receive $5,000 and will have his or her recipe turned into a video shot at the Lucky Leaf Kitchen Studio.
A Facebook sweepstakes will also reward Lucky Leaf fans who vote with a weekly $50 gift card prize.
Lucky Leaf Fruit Filling and Topping is available in nearly 30 varieties, including traditional fillings like Cherry, Apple and Blueberry, and inspiring options like Red Raspberry, Lemon and Strawberry Rhubarb.
