DeLore Albert Beach of Birchwood, Wis. passed peacefully in his sleep after a prolonged illness, on the morning of Dec. 23, 2016.
He was born in Springville, Utah in 1933 and was 83 yrs. old.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Coleen R. Beach; He is further survived by his sister, Lorraine Carlson (Bill Carlson); children: DeLore Loran Beach (Ann Gowans Beach), Cathie Lynne Oelkers, Debra Luayne Beach, Robin M. Koehnen( Michael Leonard Koehnen) their families, 12 beloved grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Loran Nathaniel Beach and Ruth Demer, his sisters Grace Behling, Norma Huntington, brother Martin Beach and son-in-law William Bennett Oelkers.
He was married in Castle Dale, Utah on April 10, 1954 for 62 years. He was sealed in the Manti Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on June 14, 1972 to his wife Coleen and children. He graduated from South Emery County High School in 1952. He began his lifelong career as an auto mechanic shortly thereafter. He was a Standard Oil dealer and operated a family business with his wife for 26 years.
He had many other passions and pursuits. “DeLore was a cowboy with a cowboy heart.” Much of his early life he spent herding cattle with his father. He loved riding and training horses and dogs. Leicee Belle his latest bordie collie adored the sound of his voice and was a dear companion.
DeLore also was an artist, writer with published poems in The Cowboy Journal, he had excellent carpenter skills and built many things for his family’s enjoyment. He was a rancher, entrepreneur, inventor of many useful things, he had several patents. One of his favorite hobbies was developing his voice as an auctioneer which he became quite skilled at. “He was a doer of hard things.” He never took the easy way in life or in death. He fought to stay with us but we are glad he has found his place of peace with his father and mother and many others he loved. His wish’s were we not have a formal funeral but we will be having a gathering to celebrate his wonderful life.
