EAST CARBON-On April 26, 2017 after a long fight with health issues from a massive heart attack followed by a stroke, John Leonard Cross Jr., 74, was reunited with our Heavenly Father and wife Donna, while his daughter was by his side holding his hand. He was born on Aug. 19, 1942 in Salt Lake City to John Sr. and Violet Gehrke Cross. John was the oldest of eight siblings. Funeral service, Saturday, May 6, 2017, 12:00 noon at the East Carbon LDS Ward. Family will receive friends at Mitchell Funeral Home Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and at the church Saturday one hour prior to service. Interment will be in the East Carbon City Cemetery.
