Emery tennis to head to state on Thursday

Emery tennis finished the regular season at region in Richfield. At their last home match of the season they honored their seniors: Kiana Pittman, Katelynn Cloward, Amanda Johansen and Hadli Olsen.
Results from region tennis which was held in Richfield on Sept. 22. First singles Samantha Roberts vs San Juan 3-6, 3-6 Vs Millard 6-4, 6-2 Vs Grand 2-6, 3-6 Took sixth place.
Second singles Hannah Morris vs Richfield 0-6, 1-6 Vs Millard 6-4, 6-2 Vs Grand 0-6, 4-6 Took sixth place
Third singles Amanda Johansen vs Grand 7-6, 4-6, 7-6
Vs Manti 0-6, 0-6
Vs North Sanpete 3-6, 1-6
Took fourth place. Johansen is going to state.
First doubles Kiana Pittman and Reagan Sitterud vs South Sevier 6-3, 6-0
Vs Richfield 1-6, 0-6
Vs Manti 3-6, 2-6
Took fourth place: Pittman and Sitterud are going to state.
Second doubles Macie Nielson and Jordynn Wolford vs San Juan 7-6, 6-0
Vs Richfield 1-6, 0-6
Vs Manti 4-6, 2-6
Took fourth place: Nielson and Wolford are going to state.
State tennis will be held at Liberty Park on Thursday in Salt Lake.
