Emery fought long and hard throughout the entire game against Manti. They only came up one goal short as Manti defeated the Spartans by a score of 3 to 2.
The goals for Emery were scored by Chloe Sermon and Alexis Winter.
Goal tender was Mileena McElvaney.
Manti has been having a great season and the Lady Spartans shut down their usual offense. Manti has been scoring sometimes 10 goals against other teams.
Lady Spartans currently sit in second in region. They will travel to Grand on Thursday and return home on Oct. 3 to play Richfield. They will play in Payson on Oct. 6 and the first round of the state playoffs begins on Oct. 11.
