There are two festivals held each year, one festival in the spring and another in the fall. Some of the people attending this event came from as far away as Texas, Arizona and Idaho. This is directly west of where they are currently mining. The portal is not in Emery County however we have Emery County workers at that mine and a good portion of the coal comes to Emery County for the power plant.
