The Emery County Business Chamber officially welcomed the Rich family to the  Emery County business community. They hosted a ribbon cutting on Oct. 24 for the business in Castle Dale. Chamber board members Jared Anderson, Diana Thompson, Commissioner Kent Wilson, Angi Jewkes, Patsy Stoddard and Jordan Leonard were on hand for the ribbon cutting.
JR’s Stop ‘n’ Go began as a dream for the Rich family.  Dinia Rich said, “Our goal from the beginning was to create a clean and welcoming environment with more options for locals and those traveling through town.  We are truly a convenient stop’n’go.  JR’s now offers premium gasoline and diesel fuel, Uhaul rental services, snacks, sodas, coffee, and of course JR’s diner.  We were fortunate enough to find an established location right here in Castle Dale.
“We saw great potential in what is now JR’s. The set up was perfect for a diner with the commercial kitchen already in place and an attached convenience store, we knew we had found the right place.
“After some renovation and remodeling and all of the hard work the team at JR’s has put in we are proud to call it home.
The convenient side of JR’s provides a variety of coffee and cappuccino beverages, soda, snacks, convenience items which are especially helpful to those traveling through during hours that other stores are closed, and locally made items that many have purchased as souvenirs.
“We are a family that loves to cook and eat.  We wanted to create something for everyone, the best quality food, large portions, and unbeatable prices with meals that might break your belt but not your wallet.
“JR’s diner offers a wide range of menu items including breakfast, JR’s signatures including the delicious original recipe fry sauce, sandwiches, and our made-from-scratch Alfredo sauce, everything is prepared fresh when you order from the burgers to the gravy.  JR’s understands that some folks like breakfast for dinner, so everything on our menu is served all day. We offer a Spartan Student lunch Special during the hours of 12 noon-1 pm and every Sunday we have our One Topping Pizza Special for $7.99. So if you don’t have time to dine in but don’t have time to cook either? Remember you can always call ahead and get your order to go (435)381-1577.
Whether you’re stopping at JR’s to fuel your vehicle, enjoy a meal, or just to grab a soda we want you to feel a part of the JR’s family,” said Rich.
