Carol Christensen

PRICE-Our loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Carol Christensen, age 70, passed away Oct. 27, 2017 at Castleview Hospital in Price.
She was born Oct. 12, 1947 in Price, Utah to Van Farnsworth and Eldora Louise King Stewart. Married Ronald Jay Christensen, Dec. 19, 1964 in Elmo, Utah.
Carol was a longtime resident of Carbon County who worked as a case worker for the State of Utah for 26 years. She loved to bowl, care for family and if she wasn’t helping others, then you could find her snuggled up reading a good book. Carol warmed the hearts of all and she will be sorely missed.
She is survived by her husband, Jay Christensen, daughter, Angel (Kelly) Madsen, Rowdy Christensen, all of Price; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and grandparents, Ferris and Rachel Nielsen who raised Carol.
Funeral service, Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017, 1 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home (233 East Main Street) where the family will receive friends at Mitchell’s one hour prior to services. Interment, Cleveland City Cemetery.
