Emery and Carbon County youth put on a good show at the Summer Run Rodeo Series. This is a series of six rodeos held in Utah County throughout the summer.
Graycee Mills won the All Around Cowgirl title in the fifth and Under division. Graycee was first place in Goat Tying, Barrel Racing and Pole Bending. She came in third place in the Breakaway Roping.
Also in the fifth and Under division, Stace Gilbert was first place in the Team Roping and Ethan Gilbert was first place in the Breakaway Roping. In the Steer Riding, Orrin McElprang came in third and Dalton Allred was fifth.
In girls Pole Bending Ryleigh Allred was second with Maddie Nielson fifth. Ryleigh was also sixth in Barrel Racing and Maddie fifth in Goat Tying.
In the 9th-12th division, Shaylee Gilbert came in second in Breakaway Roping. Makaila Peacock brought home third place in Breakaway Roping and fourth place in Goat Tying in the 6th-8th division.
In the first and Under division, Tadd Nielson placed third in Calf Riding, seventh in Dummy Roping, fifth in Pole Bending and second in Barrel Racing. Johnny Fox was third in Dummy Roping and Abree Allred seventh in Barrel Racing. Also competing was Dixon Peacock, Trent Gilbert, Kamz Rich, Shaynee Fox, Brindli Stevens, Ivy Blanton, Mylee Mills and Ally Gilbert.
