HELPER/MESQUITE- Melvin Curtis Baughman, age 69, passed away peacefully on Nov. 2, 2017 with his loving family around him. He was born Nov. 2, 1948 in Rifle, Colorado to John Curtis and Norma Jean Vanderpool Baughman. Mel moved to Helper, Utah in 1964 where he finished high school at Carbon High graduating in 1967. He married Paula Marie Weiss, June 22, 1969 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Helper. Funeral Mass, Monday, Nov. 6, 2017, 10 a.m., St. Anthony Catholic Church with a vigil service starting at 9:30 a.m. Committal, Mt. View Cemetery, Helper.
