Grand County pushed Grantsville into an overtime game in the opening game of the State 3A basketball championship at Dixie University. The game started at 9:30 a.m. and Grand played well throughout the game and at the end of regulation the score was tied. In overtime Grantsville pulled away to get the win.
In the second game Grand played on Friday, they fell to Morgan and the loss ended their stay at the tourney. Grand finished second in Region 15.
