Dani Jo Thatcher presents drug statistics for Emery County.

Bringing Hope to Homes is a Youth/Adult Partnership that is sponsored by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, National 4-H Council, Utah State 4-H and Emery County 4-H. The Coalition held its kickoff meeting on May 10, in the Emery County Court House.
Many local agencies and community members were in attendance. Dani Jo Thatcher is the Youth Leader on the Coalition and spent a week in Washington DC in February at training with this wonderful grant. Dani Jo presented the State and County Overdose Statistics and also spoke about getting the community more involved in helping combat this problem. Kolton World spoke to the group about drug addiction and how to overcome it and how to best help people in this situation Southeastern Utah Health Department did a presentation on the Narcan drug and trained all attendees how to use the drug.
