The Emery High rodeo team hosted the Cowboy Memorial rodeo over the weekend in Castle Dale. Participants from all around the area came to Castle Dale to try their luck.
On Friday night, the championship teams for Emery High and the Academic All-state recipients were honored. On Saturday night the Veterans were in the spotlight.
A new feature of the rodeo was the Big screen which showed a lot of pictures and replays of the rodeo action.
Monroe Magnuson is the founder of this rodeo and the high school team is leading the rodeo now. This is a Rocky Mountain Pro-rodeo sanctioned event.
