Peter V. Bunderson

MOORE – On Sept. 1, 2018, the world lost Peter V. Bunderson. Peter was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. Although Peter struggled many years with a debilitating disease, he lived bravely and endured much.  Peter had a gentle charisma that endeared him to anyone who took the time to know him.

Born on May 9, 1977 in Provo, Utah to Perry V. Bunderson and Ginette Wright Bunderson, Peter was a lifelong resident of Emery County and a graduate of Emery High School Class of 1995. He was a sports enthusiast who also had a great love for the outdoors. Peter loved to camp, hunt, and farm with his family. His finesse as an equipment operator was amazing, he was particularly good with big backhoes and trackhoes.  He also enjoyed working with his hands and liked to create things, carving many gifts out of antlers for family and friends. He asked to be remembered as he was before his illness; a kind, caring, happy, healthy, intelligent friend who was strong from “pumping iron and eating burritos.”

Peter is survived by his parents, Perry V. Bunderson and Ginette Wright Bunderson; sisters, Gina (Shane) Gagon, Melisa (Luke) Schelvan, Julie Bunderson; nieces, Whitney, Taylor, and Jordyn Gagon; Autumn, and Cassidy Schelvan; and nephew, Rio Schelvan.

A Celebration of Life will be Friday, Sept. 7, 2018, 3 p.m., at the Ferron Stake Center (555 South 400 West) in Ferron where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Peter online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.

God speed as you pass through to the other side, going home.
