The residents of Castle Dale celebrated the Christmas season with their annual chili dinner in the park on Thursday, with an emphasis on chilly. Freezing temperatures did not sway people from gathering to enjoy the evening where Santa visited with the young and young at heart. Hay rides through the dark streets of the city were offered and everyone had a chance to eat their fill of chili and hot chocolate while warming themselves by the fire.
