I don’t really want to start Orangeville bashing again. This will be the second letter addressing tree houses in Orangeville. I don’t live in Orangeville, so I’m not an Orangeville expert. I like Orangeville. I have a lot of friends who live in Orangeville. I am, however, baffled by the fact that Orangeville kids apparently can’t have tree houses. I believe we live in a rural area because we like it here and could possibly have more freedom than in a largely populated area. I hate rules and regulations. I am a bit of a nonconformist who thinks we have too many laws already. Laws and zoning ordinances governing tree houses sounds like a bit much to me. But, like I said I’m not from Orangeville so I don’t know. If a city official would like to comment that would be welcome, but if not we will end the tree house issue with the letter submitted above.
