The Ferron Fire Department held a fundraiser dinner recently. They are raising funds to purchase a multi-gas detector that will detect four different kinds of gas. Randy Nielson, fire chief, said that enough money was raised to purchase the detector. “I want to thank everyone who supported us in this project,” said Nielson.
Members of the fire department served chili, cornbread, scones and cake for the fundraiser.
