Isabelle Sally Oliveto
PRICE/HAYDEN,COLO.- Isabelle Sally Oliveto, age 75 passed away Aug. 7, 2007 at Doak Walker Care Center in Steamboat Springs, Colo. She was born Nov. 19, 1931 in Price to Bill and Isabella Barberio Oliveto.
She attended school in Price and graduated from Carbon High School and Carbon Junior College. Sally was a member of Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church.
In May of 2001 Sally moved to Hayden, Colo. where she lived at The Haven Assisted Living Center and enjoyed many new friends and opportunities in her life.
Survived by her nephews and spouses, Bill (Roberta) Pero, Hayden, Colo.; James (Annette) Kaye, Jackson, Wyo.; Dominic (Pam) Oliveto, Rock Springs, Wyo.; nieces and spouses, Carol (Earl) Mara; Annette (Jim) Callor; Phyllis Cox, all of Price; many great nieces, nephews, and step great-nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Anne Kaye, and Catherine Pero; brothers, Sam, Dominic, and Ross Oliveto.
Funeral mass was held Fri., Aug. 10, 2007, 10 a.m. Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church. Vigil service, Thursday evening 7 p.m. Mitchell Funeral Home. Family was at Mitchell’s one hour prior to service. Committal, Price City Cemetery.
Beth Billingsley Stilson
ST. GEORGE – Beth Billingsley Stilson, age 78, passed away on Aug. 8, 2007, at her home in St. George surrounded by her family. She was born May 20, 1929, in Castle Dale, Utah, to Alma Owen and Thora Seeley Billingsley.
Beth was raised and educated in Castle Dale, Utah. She graduated from Emery High School, where she was editor of the newspaper. The day she graduated her childhood sweetheart, Lester Clan Stilson gave her an engagement ring. Two months later they were married and sealed in the Manti Temple in Manti, Utah, on July 21, 1947.
Beth was an active member of the LDS Church, where she held many positions. She had many talents. Beth was creative and had great organizational skills. She was a perfectionist, hard working, gentle, and kind.
Beth was gifted in architecture with a savvy business mind and would help with any construction or remodeling job. She enjoyed music and making the holidays special.
Beth was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother. She loved to travel and was fortunate enough to visit many places.
Beth had unconditional generosity and was giving to any and all. Beth loved her family; her husband, children and grandchildren. She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
Surviving family include her children, Philip C. (Ruby) of Farmington, Utah, Colleen (Verlan) Hogue of St. George, Blaine L. (Jennie Lynn) of St. George, Karen (Dan) Petersen of West Jordan, Utah, Stuart K. (Trudi) of St. George, and Glen B. (Claire) of St. George; 23 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren; sister, Clara Lee (Leon) Bawden of Mesa, Ariz.; and half brothers and sisters, Jack (Sally) Killian, Clark (Mary Jean) Killian, Wayne (Judy) Killian, Jimmy (Lanna) Billingsley, Sonny Billingsley, Roger Billingsley, Mason Billingsley, Jeanie Billingsley, Richard Billingsley and Johnny Billingsley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Clan Stilson.
Funeral services were held Mon., Aug. 13, 2007, 11 a.m. at the Main Street LDS Chapel, 150 South Main, St. George. Visitations will be held Sun., Aug. 12, 2007, from 6-8 p.m. at Spilsbury Mortuary, 110 South Bluff Street, and again Monday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to services, at the Chapel. Interment will take place at the St. George City Cemetery.

Mirl P. Holley
PRICE- Our loving husband, father, and grandfather who was loved by all Mirl P. Holley, age 78, passed away peacefully Aug. 7, 2007 at his home in Price. He was born March 10, 1929 in Fillmore to Mirl and Jessie Milgate Holley.
He attended Fillmore High School and was a member of the US Army from 1946-1950 at which time he was part of the Occupational Forces in Germany.
Married Emma Beach on Nov, 11, 1950 in Ely, Nev.
Mirl was a member of the Carbon County Sheriff’s Posse, Operating Engineers Local #3, and the American Quarter Horse and Dun Association. He was retired from the Operating Engineers and Beaver Creek Coal Company. He loved bowling, fishing, hunting and playing with his horses.
Mirl will be greatly missed by his family and a community of friends.
Survived by his wife, Emma, Price; sons and daughters, Terry (Cheryl), Smithfield; Cliff (Sharon), Rock Springs, Wyo.; Sandy (Rick), Tuscaloosa, Ala.; Steve (Barbara), Sandy; Frank, Price; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his mother Jessie; brothers, Royal and Jay; brother-in-law Ted.

Norv S. Worthen
FERRON-Norv S. Worthen, 70, passed away on Aug.8, 2007 in Price, Utah. He was born on Nov. 29, 1936 in Ferron, Utah as the second of three children to Verl H. Worthen, and Elva Livingston Worthen. He married Mickie M. Boam on Dec. 8, 1955 in Reno, Nev. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple.
Norv was raised in Ogden, Utah where he attended Ben Lomond High School. He enjoyed returning to Ferron in the summers to help out on the Livingston farm. Norv played on the first organized baseball youth team in Ogden where he was selected as an All-Star. He worked for O.U.R. & D. Railroad for 12 years, was the manager of Phillips 66 Petroleum-Propane in Ogden, and he retired from Western Zirconium in 1995. He then moved back to Ferron, his place of birth, in 2001 to be back where his ancestors’ roots are.
Norv was a member of the LDS church. He served as ward clerk, home teacher, and coached the Young Men in sports. Norv was an avid sports fan. The Cincinnati Reds, Atlanta Braves, and Utah Jazz were among his favorite teams. He had many other hobbies including outdoor sports like hunting, fishing, and horses. He also loved trucks with big wheels and tires. His yard always looked perfect, yard work being something he also enjoyed. Norv enjoyed camping at Flaming Gorge, hunting with family and friends, watching bull riding, and he could fix anything.
Norv is survived by his wife, Mickie, of Ferron; three children, Donald Norv Worthen (Nancy) of Centerville, Debra Ann Isacson (Kim) of Farmington, Douglas V. Worthen (Laura) of Bountiful; 12 Grandchildren, Jace, Camber, Cody, Cole, Aanni, Lorisa, Emilie, JeniLyn, Angella, Lance, Kadin, Bodie; 4 � great-grandchildren, Tate, Quincee, Max, Jonah, and one soon to be sent from our Father; two brothers, LeRoy Worthen (Charlotte) of Tremonton, Blaine E. Worthen (Joyce) of Riverdale; one sister, Lorraine Giles (Ned) of Kayesville; one sister-in-law, Julie Kenley of West Point; three brothers-in-law, Bob Knight of Ogden, Lennie Knight of Layton, Frank Knight of Salt Lake City; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister-in-law.
Graveside services will be Tues. Aug. 14, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. at the Ferron Cemetery under the direction of Fausett Mortuary.
Betty Jones
CARBONVILLE-Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Betty Katherine Milano Jones, age 76, passed away Aug. 7, 2007 at home after a valiant battle with cancer. She was born Oct. 2, 1930 in Price to Lee and Gladys Ross Milano.
Married Merrill Allen Jones, April 5, 1949 at Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church in Price.
Betty was a member of the Catholic Church. She was a lifelong resident of Carbon County where she attended Notre Dame School and later graduated from Carbon High School in 1949. Betty was the best wife, mother and grandmother that anyone could ask for. Her life was centered around family and friends, and she was happiest when she was helping and caring for others.
She enjoyed camping, fishing and traveling with family and friends. Betty’s warmth and infectious smile will be dearly missed by her family, and many longtime friends and neighbors. Survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Merrill Jones, Price; four daughters and one son, Marilyn (Arch) Allred, Cleveland, Rick (Lenore) Jones, Queen Creek, Ariz., Ginger (Pat) Lemmon, Price, Shelly (Barrett) Lemmon, Cleveland, Dana (Scott) Young, Price; four sisters and one brother, Wanda Woody, Montana, Irene Cripps, Price, Nat (Blaine) Brackus, Salt Lake City, Lee (Betty) Milano, LaRue (Wally) Llewelyn, both of Las Vegas, Nev.; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Milano, Spring Glen; 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Glen Lemmon; great-granddaughter, Audrey Eastman; brothers, Dwane and Larry Milano; and sister, Helen Milano.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the entire staff at Rocky Mountain Hospice.

Lola Fowler Jewkes
ORANGEVILLE-Lola Fowler Jewkes, 84, passed away at her home in Orangeville, Utah, Aug. 9, 2007. She was reunited with her husband, Don, 24 years after his death.
She was born to Vana Abagail Oman and Leo Abinadi Fowler Aug. 4, 1923 in Hiawatha, Utah. She married Don Kearl Jewkes on Jan. 12, 1946 after waiting for him for three years while he served his country in World War II.
They were the parents of four children: Lyla Christine of Washington Terrace, Utah; Don Earl Jewkes (Jeanine) of Layton, Utah; Rosanne Hooley (Kent) of Salt Lake City; and Susan Diane Abass of Costa Mesa, Calif.
She is survived by one son, three daughters, 15 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, one brother, one sister, and nieces and nephews.
She was active in the LDS church and loved serving her Father in Heaven and Savior there. She had been active in the VFW Auxiliary, and the Click Club (Rook).
She loved gardening and the many flowers in her yard, writing poetry, painting, quilting, fishing, temple work, family history work, and serving her family with love.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Aug. 16, 2007 at the Orangeville LDS Ward Chapel ( 45 West 100 South). A viewing will be held from 11 a.m. -12:45 p.m. prior to the services at the chapel. Interment will be in the Orangeville City Cemetery, under the direction of Fausett Mortuary.
Wanda Campbell
PRICE-Our loving mother, grandmother and sister, Wanda Harrison Campbell, age 80, passed away Aug. 7, 2007 at Castleview Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born May 4, 1927 in Shreve, Ohio to Russell and Hazel Harrison.
She married William H. Campbell, Oct. 25, 1946 in Shreve, Ohio; he passed away on March 10, 2004.
Wanda was a longtime resident of California where she retired from the Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Fontana. In 1991, Wanda and Bill moved to Price where she was blessed with many wonderful friends and acquaintances. Her home was always filled with warmth and she was a grandmother to everyone who entered it. She loved entertaining family and friends, square dancing, golfing. She was an avid NASCAR fan.
Wanda was very crafty, she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and knitting wash cloths and afghans. She was very generous and her acts of kindness will never be forgotten.
She is survived by her son, Bill and ReNai Campbell, Price; daughter, Becky Kraefft, Denver, Colo.; brother, Theron and Jean Harrison, Shreve, Ohio; grandchildren, Kim, Zac, Andy, ReAnn, and Demetria; and four loving great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Bill.
A visitation for family and friends was held Sat., Aug. 11, 2007 from 5-6:30 p.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home in Price. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Active Re-Entry, Perkie Van, 10 South Fairgrounds Road, Price, Utah 84501.
William Steven Wiswell
HELPER- Our beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend William Steven “Billy” Wiswell, age 49, returned to his heavenly father on Aug. 10, 2007.
He was born July 17, 1958 in Price to John Lea and Ora “Bunny” Fenn Wiswell.
Billy enjoyed fishing, bottle hunting, and spending time with his friends. He was a “free bird” and lived life his way. Billy played hard and was always there when someone needed help. He was a friend to all and will be dearly missed.
Survived by his daughter, Billie Jo Wiswell, Oklahoma; mother, Ora “Bunny” Magann, Helper; four grandchildren; two sisters; Susan (Robert) Richardson, Peggy Rathburn; three special nieces and two nephews; 22 great-nieces and nephews; one great-great-nephew; and ex wife, Debbie Shellman.
Preceded in death by his father and many long time friends.
