Rachelle Killpack and Melanie Johnson set for the return from the defending Lehi player. |
Fall weather is unpredictable as the Emery Lady Spartan tennis team found out this week, encountering heavy rains right before the match in Castle Dale on Tuesday, scorching heat in Cedar City on Wednesday, and ideal tennis weather Thursday at home. This year’s tennis team is the largest that’s it’s ever been with 30-plus girls participating. Coach Tom Hansen said, “It’s a continually growing program, the number one individual participation sport at Emery High with more participants than track or wrestling.
