Coach Stan Parsons recently achieved what few coaches ever do. He has amassed 300 wins as a boys basketball coach at Green River High School. He tried to retire several times, but his services are needed at the school and he has come back to coach several times and is currently coaching the boys basketball team again at the school. The Green River boys team is having a good season led by Coach Parsons. Coach Parsons was the head coach of volleyball for 17 years and the assistant volleyball coach for three years; assistant coach baseball for 10 years; head coach girls baskeball for 11 years; assistant coach girls basketball for one year; head coach boys basketball for 20 years; took 02-03 and 03-04 off; and assistant coach track for a few years.
