Della Alger
Della Brasher Alger will be celebrating her 96th birthday, Sept. 25. Della was born in Blanding, Utah, to Adelbert and Laura Guymon Brown. She is the youngest of six children. Della is the mother of four children, 20 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren. She is a resident of the Emery County Care and Rehab Center in Ferro
B Lucian Jones
B. Lucian Jones will celebrate his 90th birthday on Sept. 22. He married Lucille Tilton on June 30, 1941. They have four children, Duane Jones, Stewart (Sharon) Jones, Karlene (Dale) Linford, and Kristie (George) Motte. They have 11 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. A birthday open house will be presented in his honor on Sept. 22 from 6-8 p.m. at the Price North Stake Center, 449 North 100 East. No gifts please.
Betty Huff
Betty celebrated her 85th birthday on Sept. 14. She was born in Standardville in 1922 and has been a long time residen of Carbon County. She was married to the late Verl Huff for 60 years.
