On the morning of Feb. 24, Emery County scouts met for fun and games following a night of winter camping at Huntington State Park. The tug of war was a big hit with the boys. |
During the winter camp out at Huntington State Park, each of the 11 troops in attendance vied for points in the activities. Points were tallied and the awards for the best overall troops were given to: first place went to Troop 304; second place was a tie between Troops 306 and 328; third place was also a tie and was awarded to Troops 300 and 305. To top off the weekend the Klondike Derby was held with scouts pulling the sleds in a timed competition. Cleveland Troop 385 had the fastest time in the Klondike.
