There are a lot of kids, like myself who went into the Navy before we could vote because we believed in the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution and World War II.
Growing up, we were poor during the depression years. We played by making kites and airplanes out of newspaper and sticks and used glue made from flour and water. My mother raised us four boys on hot cakes and hash, a little meat and lots of potatoes. Yet we where taught to serve our country.
Our father served in the US Air Corps. I’m thankful to be an American. May God save our country and bless America.
The stimulus package will do nothing for the American economy. We need a stimulus package to reconstruct America and put people to work to pay taxes.
