Two Huntington juveniles were arrested Nov. 20 by members of the Emery County Sheriff’s Office for burglary, damaging mail boxes and theft of mail.
The Emery County Sheriff’s Office reported that the burglaries occurred on Nov. 19 and 20. The sheriff’s office was notified of the incidents by a concerned citizen who reported a suspicious incident at the Huntington Post Office at approximately 7 p.m. on Nov. 20.
Sgt. Gayle Jensen arrived at the scene and found one juvenile in the act. Deputies Ray Jeffs and Brook Smith responded to assist and upon further investigation a second juvenile was arrested. The juveniles, ages 15 and 17, were transported to the Price juvenile detention center.
