Rocky Mountain Power contributes funding for summer camp program at the Community Center/Boys and Girls Club in Green River.
Deb Dull, customer and community manager for Rocky Mountain Power, brought a check in the amount of $2,500 to the Community Center/Boys and Girls Club in Green River on July 22, to help support the summer camp School of Rock program. The program started May 27 and finished Aug. 8. The School of Rock Summer Camp Program operates five days per week and provides educational and fun alternatives for the youth of Green River while regular school is out of session.
The curriculum includes math, reading, science, art, sports and service activities. This summer camp has proven to keep youth on track and show improvement in some areas during the summer. This generous funding provided by Rocky Mountain Power will help scholarship youth into this program who could not otherwise afford to attend.
The Community Center/Boys and Girls Club wants to Give Deb Dull and Rocky Mountain Power a great big “Thank You” for helping valuable programs at the Community Center continue to help children.
