Huntington First Ward will hold its Christmas Party on Dec. 23 at 6 p.m. It will begin with a dinner of chicken corden bleu, activities for the children, a program, and a special visitor. Visitors welcome. Church on 400 East.

A Christmas Eve candlelight service will be held at Desert Edge Christian Chapel on Dec. 24 at 6 p.m. The theme is Silent Night. All are welcome to come and worship.

Cleveland Angel Tree


Cleveland Town will sponsor an angel tree again this holiday season. If you know of a needy person or family in our town, who needs to be put on the angel tree, call the town hall 653-2310. If you would like to help by picking an angel from the tree and provide a gift for them, call or stop by the town hall during business hours, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Gifts need to be returned to the town office (100 West Main) by Dec. 23.

Cleveland’s Annual Christmas Party and Program

Power Wheelchairs Available


The Senior Wheels USA Program makes available power wheelchairs to senior citizens and the permanently disabled at no cost to the recipient, if they qualify. The power wheelchairs are provided to those who can no longer walk safely, nor self propel a manual wheelchair and who meet the additional guidelines of the program. These young ambassadors are between 15 and 18 years of age and all speak English. Student’s profiles will start arriving for students from various countries.
