On June 24 at approximately 8:30 p.m. a call came into the Emery County Sheriff’s Office dispatch center. The caller reported her 3-year old nephew had just been hit by a truck. The EMTS responded and transported the boy to Castleview Hospital where he was life flighted. He was in intensive care for a few days and is now home and reported to be doing well. He will suffer long term damage from the accident due to a brain injury. The young boy’s name is Corbin Otterstrom. The accident occurred at 351 East 100 South in Huntington. The driver of the truck was listed as Melvin Beardall of Lawrence.
