1948-2009
SPRING GLEN-The daughter of Anton and Viola Skriner, wife of Steve Rosenberg, was taken from us on Jan. 25, 2009 at the young age of 60.
Toni’s early years were spent in Carbon County, graduating from Carbon High School and later graduating from the University of Utah in 1970 with high honors. She belonged to several organizations including the American Legion, Job’s Daughter’s and Eastern Star Manzanita Chapter.
Even though her last years were spent in Colorado, she was the most caring and loving daughter with almost weekly phone calls to her mom. She was a friend to everyone.
Survived by her mother, Viola Skriner of Spring Glen, Utah; her husband, Steve Rosenberg of Centennial, Colo.; her wonderful cat Cocobelle also of Centennial; her uncle Henry and aunt Nadine Skriner of Spring Glen; aunt Antonia Corak of Salt Lake City, Utah; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Anton; brother, Joey; late husband, George Paul; grandparents, several aunts and uncles.
Toni loved animals, especially cats. Toni and Steve’s cat, Cocobelle, was very precious to her.
Toni, it has been joyous to have watched you grow more and more special as the years went by. It was a special delight to have had a loving and wonderful daughter and wife like you. Love, Mom and Steve.
At Toni’s request, there were no services. Family was at the Mt. View Cemetery in Helper, Utah on Friday, Jan. 30, 2009 at 11 a.m. for a graveside service. Friends were welcome to attend. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or to pain research would be most appreciated.
