Wendell and Nancy Curtis of Pleasant Grove announce the marriage of their daughter, Sarah Joanna to Anthony Layne Hales, son of Layne and Alaina Hales of Ferron on Aug. 12 in the Mt. Timpanogas Temple.
A reception will be held in their honor Aug. 11 from 7-9 p.m. at 4611 West Killarney Drive in Highland.
Anthony is a graduate of Emery High and served an LDS mission in Paris, France. He is currently attending college through Utah State University extension at Snow College and working at the Pine Creek Youth Ranch in Mt. Pleasant.
Sarah is a graduate of Pleasant Grove High School. She is currently majoring in family sciences at Snow College. The couple will make their home in Ephraim where they will continue their education.
Grandparents of the groom are Idonna Dugmore and the late Gale Dugmore of Ferron, Ned and Ruby Hales of Spanish Fork and Bonnie and Charlie Hardegan of Maryland.
Grandparents of the bride are Roger and Deloris Curtis of Orangeville, Barbara Rinderknecht and the late Charles William Smith of Providence.
