PRICE- Victoria Formento Smith passed away Oct. 27, 2009 at Castleview Hospital of causes incident to age, with her extended family Dean and Erline Denison by her bedside, to whom she was a true and loyal friend for more than 50 years, they depended on each other more than anyone will ever know.
She was born in Spring Canyon, Utah on June 11, 1916 to Michael and Theresa Castagna Formento.
Married Henry L. “Ick” Smith, Nov. 9, 1941, “Ick” preceded her in death on Oct. 15, 1982.
Vickie was a member of the Catholic Church and a lifelong resident of Carbon County.
She is survived by her nieces, Theresa Billingsley and Christine Baker; brother-in-law Clifford Smith; several nieces, nephews and a community of friends.
Her extended family would like to thank the staff of the Heirloom Inn which she considered her home, for their loving care and attention.
Graveside service was Fri., Oct. 30, 2009, 3 p.m. Mt. View Cemetery, Helper, Utah. Family was at Mitchell Funeral Home, Thursday evening 6-7 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to service.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to St. Anthony Catholic Church, 5 South Main, Helper, Utah 84526.
