Black Diamond Auto opens in Castle Dale

Emery County’s newest auto dealer has just opened its doors in Castle Dale. Black Diamond Auto is doing business at 415 East Main Street. Brian Allridge is the salesman on the lot and he will be there Tuesday-Saturday from 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. After hours you can reach him on his cell phone and he’ll be glad to come down to the lot and show you a car.
“We will have some inventory on our lot. But, most of our business will be done by special order. Come in or call and let us know what you want and we will find the vehicle to fit your needs or wants. My cell phone is 435-609-1222 and you can call anytime. I will work with the online sales and buy vehicles on line. I can watch the auction sites and research what people want and let them know when it’s available. We will find the vehicle you want. We can get the style, color, make and model you want in the price range you can afford. We will have lower prices due to our low overhead. We are just a small operation and our overhead is low so we can offer vehicles at a lower price for a better value to our customers. We will work with local lenders to get your financing for your car or truck,” said Allridge.
Allridge lives in Ferron and also works for Ashworth. He is married to Desiree Labbee and has two sons, Carson and Parker. Allridge has always lived in Ferron and his wife is an Orangeville girl. Allridge said, “I really like it here. I like to hunt and fish and go camping and just about anything outdoors.”
Allridge said since the purchase of the auto dealership a number of improvements have been made to the lot. The lot was cleaned off and some of the old inventory was moved off and some were sold. The lot has been graveled and the office has been remodeled. The exterior has been painted. Old outbuildings were torn down and a new sign for the business has been ordered.
Future plans include putting in an office trailer and knocking down the old building. Old trees on the property were taken out and the property has been beautified.
You can also find an ATV and a trailer at the lot. Trailers of all sizes and shapes are available and some will be on the lot in Castle Dale. The office phone number is 381-2187.
“We can beat the big boys in pricing and selection. Why just pick a car off a lot when you can special order anything you want. I can also meet with customers by appointments on Mondays. We are here to provide a service to our customers and plan to take good care of them. We want to be part of this community and help beautify Castle Dale. We want to serve all the residents of Emery County. We plan on being good friends and neighbors. Our business has already signed up to help with the Miss Emery Celebrity golf tournament to be held on May 9. We are offering one of our cars for a hole in one on hole 7. We are also donating a new driver to be part of the raffle prizes. This golf tournament raises funds for Miss Emery to go to the Miss Utah competition and also for the Children’s Miracle Network. We are proud to help out this cause,” said Allridge.
