CARBONVILLE/HUNTINGTON- Reva Rae Gordon Marshall McKee, age 86, passed away peacefully in her home Jan. 7, 2009. Reva was born July 4, 1922 in Mohrland, Utah to George Edward and Elizabeth Burgess Gordon.
Reva married June Woodrow Marshall on June 15, 1940 in the Bishop’s Office in Castle Dale, Utah. Sealed to spouse Oct.11, 1952 in the Manti LDS Temple. June Woodrow Marshall passed away Sept. 9, 1951 due to a logging accident on Gentry Mountain.
Reva married Floyd McKee on June 26, 1955 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Endowed Sept. 27, 1989 Manti LDS Temple. Floyd McKee passed away Sept. 8, 2004.
Reva was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. For 25 years she enjoyed being a volunteer Pink Lady at Castleview Hospital. She also enjoyed going to the Senior Center luncheons and other activities with her many friends. Family and friends were very important to her and she loved each of them dearly.
Survived by her sons, Robert E. (Beth) Marshall, Huntington, Utah; Kim F. (Laurie) McKee, Kemmerer, Wyo.; daughters, Donna Rae (Garth) Stokes, West Jordan, Utah; Pamela Sue (Thomas) Brereton, Castle Dale, Utah; 14 grandchildren, 14 great- grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, two grandsons, two sisters and six brothers.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 10, 2009, at 11 a.m., Carbonville Ward at the LDS Church in Spring Glen. Family was at Mitchell Funeral Home, Friday, Jan. 9, 2009, 6-8 p.m., and at the church Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment, Huntington City Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home, Price.
