HELPER-Our loving brother, uncle, and friend, Carl H. “Deke” Hreinson, age 65, passed away peacefully Jan. 16, 2009 of a broken heart at his niece’s home in Orangeville. He was born April 18, 1943 in Castle Gate, Utah to Hubert and Vanda Degn Heath Hreinson.
Married Sharon Jane Kirkwood March 3, 1973 in Price, Utah.
Deke served his country in United States Navy. He joined St. Anthony Catholic Church March 3, 2008 when he and Sharon renewed their wedding vows. He loved spending all of his time with Sharon. He enjoyed being with his family especially his great nieces Aubrey and Hunter.
Deke liked to go camping and hunting to spend time with his brothers. He especially enjoyed coffee time with his brother Sack. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survived by his niece and caregiver, Desery (Larry) Martinez, Orangeville; brothers, Sack (Gaylene) Hreinson, Helper; Lee (Charlene) Heath, Miller Creek; George Heath, Kearns; Gene (Eva) Heath, Deloris, Colo.; three nephews and one niece, Mike (LouAnn) Hreinson, Spring Glen; Dave (Katie) Hreinson, Huntington; Samantha Ivie, Riverton; Pete Kirkwood, Helper; brother-in-law, Earl (Debbie) Kirkwood, Hotchkiss, Colo.; two great nieces, Aubrey and Hunter Wandell, Orangeville; and many other great nieces, nephews, and a community of friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, and wife Sharon.
Funeral Mass, Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009, 10 a.m. St. Anthony Catholic Church. Vigil Service, Monday evening 7 p.m. Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will be at Mitchell’s Monday and Tuesday one hour prior to service. Committal, Mt. View Cemetery, Helper.
