Lamont and Maureen Law were married on Sept. 5, 1959 in the Manti LDS Temple in Manti, Utah.
Lamont Worthen Law was born Feb. 27, 1939 in Orangeville to Guy and Vade Law. He was the fourth and youngest child. After graduating from Emery County High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Army. When he was stationed at Ft. Bliss, Texas he met the lovely Maureen Mask.
Maureen Mask was born Nov. 12, 1939 in El Paso, Texas to Clate and Marva Mask. She was the second of four children. After graduating from Yseleta High School in El Paso, she was working at State National Bank.
They have three daughters: Susan (Richard) Netzley of Hyrum, Julie (David) Curtis of West Valley City, and Amy Price of Riverdale. They also have 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Since Lamont was in the Army they have lived in many different locales. They have lived in New Mexico, Alabama, Germany, Marylan, Wisconsin, Alaska and Utah. Lamont has a bachelor of science degree from Brigham Young University, and a master’s degree from New Mexico State University. He also served a tour of duty in Vietnam. They now call Orangeville home, and plan to be there for many, many more years.
