Lyle C. Fausett , 57 passed away peacefully Sept. 15, 2009 at his brother’s home in Helper after an extended illness. His close, loving family was blessed to be there with him.

Lyle was truly a lover of animals and had a special gift where they were concerned. During the last few years he and his birds have enjoyed participating in the American Racing Pigeon Association. He enjoyed traveling with friends, having good times and making good memories. He had an irreplaceable sense of humor and will always be that special uncle to his many nieces and nephews. His family will greatly miss his teasing, his grin and the unconditional love they shared with him.
Lyle is survived by his parents Dee and Carol Amber Powell Fausett, sister Dixie (John) Gomez, sister-in-law Robynn Fausett, brother Blake Fausett, brother Don (Kathy) Fausett, sister Nancy ( John) Boyle, a wonderful family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and many dear friends. The family would like to thank Tisa Pendergrass and Angie Fausett for the exemplary care and compassion given to Lyle during his illness, they are truly angels on this earth.
