Emery cross country holds home meet

In last week’s cross country meet that Emery hosted, a Juab runner broke the course record and finished the race in a time of 16:07.
Richfield won the meet with a score of 38 followed by Juab with a score of 42. The rest of the boys scoring was Uintah at 74, Manti at 127, Emery at 130, Delta at 139 and Altamont at 188.
Spencer Fehlberg led the way finishing in 10th place at 17:58. The rest of the finishers were Cort Jensen in 14th place at 18:31, Caleb Woolsey at 19:23, Weston Allinson at 21:06 and Randy Allen at 24:14.
On the girls side, Uintah won with a score of 43 followed by Altamont at 68, Manti at 72, Juab at 83, Richfield at 110, Emery at 121 and Delta at 142.
Scoring for Emery were Natalie Baantjer at 25:34, Larelan Huntsman at 25:38, Jaecee Bird at 25:47, Jennifer Jensen at 30:48, Rachel Rogers at 34:08 and Naomi Snow at 34:46.
